A Dream Vacation
I LOVE eating Italian food and I had never been to the Amalfi coast. So, Yes…this culinary vacation was a dream that came true.

I chose Culture Discovery Vacation (CDV) based on the online reviews and I was not disappointed. From the initial planning stage to my final “arrivederci” on my last day, my expectations were met. CDV was very thorough in their communications about not only the daily itinerary but what to expect while being there. I traveled solo but became part of a lovely group of 17 other travelers. And all 18 of us then were graciously welcomed by our host family (Antonio, Filomena, Pepe, Claudia, Valeria and so many others) to become one BIG FAMILIA. The villa accommodations had spectacular sights of the Amalfi Coast; the itinerary was a perfect balance of cooking and sightseeing. I felt that I got to experience everything that I set out to do on this trip. Every meal that we ate whether we cooked it; it was prepared for us at the villa, or when we ate out was delicious. I recommend losing a few pounds before coming on this trip as you WILL gain weight :)) It was a relaxing and fun time with singing around the kitchen table or lounging by the pool. I still can’t believe that it’s over :(( One week seemed to go so fast. However, since I so thoroughly enjoyed myself on this trip…I do see another CDV culinary adventure in my future. Ciao.
